When walking on the beach after a recent storm, I found tens of washed up dead blue barrel jellyfish as well as a Curlew with blue coloured rings around its legs.
Blue is not the only colour. The title conveys my feelings on confronting death in that sadness is not the only emotion felt. It is a myriad of complex emotions from sadness to relief to joy to guilt and anger. And we often find it difficult to allow ourselves and others to express these other emotions as if they are wrong.
